Welcome To Our Home. Welcome To Prince Of Wales

Join us in experiencing the wild & beautiful, remote South East Alaska. Alaskas Fish Tales Lodge is family owned and operated, catering to the families and small groups. Our goal is to provide a safe, clean facility and equipment that exceeds your expectations. A cabin by the stream was not an afterthought in this process. The property was built with the intention of entertaining guests in an atmosphere that cannot be duplicated. There are elements of the Alaska wilderness that we cannot control, the weather, the fish, the movement of the game. For those things that are within our realm of operation, we have the lodge amenities, the skill sets and a passion for the lifestyle we call home here in Whale Pass Alaska.

Our Prince Of Wales Island Rental Cabins

Two identical cabins compliment the property here at Alaska’s Fish Tales Lodge. Both are furnished with full bath, laundry facility, boot dryer, refrigerator and loft sleeping. Two full beds and two sets of bunk beds round out the sleeping quarters. Wether its a couple seeking a quiet weekend, a family group or few days with the guys, the accommodations will exceed your expectations. Your quiet space to retire to, with the sound of the stream outside your window, roll up in those flannel sheets, breathe the clean air and “Get your mind right.”

The Main Lodge in Whale Pass

The lodge building itself owns a commanding view of the neck lake outlet. Where the scenery is ever changing, from a natural bottleneck in game trails, to the swing of the tide, the goings on with the fish and game within view of the expansive windows make for quite the show. The food is over the top, in an atmosphere that lends itself to enjoying each others company. Wether its the stories of the day, or plans for tomorrow conversation around here has a way of fueling the imagination and feeding the soul. “We had the Red Table Topics, long before the internet brought Ted Talks to Whale Pass.” We don’t think outside the box, we live outside the box.
